Status : OnlineAtom doesn't have the feature you're asking for built-in. There is no way to connect Atom to your GitHub account directly. You have to use Git or an application like GitHub Desktop to connect to GitHub and import your new project. Once that is done, you can use Atom to interact with the local copy of your repository.

Status : OnlineClose Atom and re-open, and your GIT tab should have switched.... the above only takes care of the Git tab, now for the GitHub tab. go to GitHub.com, revoke Atom from the account you wish to remove from Atom, and log out; log into GitHub.com from the account you wish to work with. In Atom, under the github tab, log in and get a new token.
